A warning to you all, someone is selling our new range of cards as art prints on ebay - mounted for £6.50, they are not genuine prints so please don't be ripped off.
One of the item numbers is
TIERCEL PEREGRINE FALCON FALCONRY MOUNTED PRINT 12"X10" (350193658983)
At best it will be one of the cards that we will be selling on the site shortly for about £2! and at worst it's a dodgy fake print of one of the cards- looking quickly at the size i think it's the latter.
I have emailed the seller asking them to remove the item and warning that I will be posting on here to advise people not to buy from them. If they do not remove the items I will report them to ebay.
We know that whoever is doing it bought the cards from us at the BFC AGM recently, as they have not been sold anywhere else yet, I'm sure it won't take long to work out who it was.
Big thanks to Phil Myers for bringing it to our attention.
And please don't waste your money!

yes thanks pete, i've emailed them regarding each item.
looking at the sizes again it looks like they've probably bought the cards then just mounted them, but they could be reprints, not sure, either way it's the fact that they are selling them as prints that i have a problem with. If they were honest and said they were mounted cards it wouldn't be so bad. Having said that I'm sure you could buy them from us direct and get them mounted at a local framers yourselves for less if thats what you want to do.

I know what you're saying Griff, but I don't think people should be ripped off. I don't want people buying this sort of thing thinking they are getting a proper print.
We pride ourselves in only selling quality reproductions of Andy's work and potential customers who may be don't know us would probably assume items like these are the same as we sell when they're not.
Also the other big thing is that obviously andy holds the copyright on all his work, so nobody should be reproducing anything without his permission.
So the bottom line is if they're selling cards as "prints" they are ripping people off , and if they're making copies of Andy's work to sell they're ripping people off and breaking the law.
Anyway I'll get off my soap box now! :)
Just to let you know we don't currently sell through ebay, but if we ever do there will always be a link back to our site in the description so you know it's us and a genuine product.

I'm pleased to say that this matter has been cleared up . The seller has removed the items in question and contacted me. The "prints" were not reproductions but some of the new cards mounted. The seller's other items apparently are all sold with the various artists' knowledge and this was an unfortunate misunderstanding due to the way they had worded the description.
But let this be a warning to you all...... don't mess with mrs c, I'm a force to be reckoned with!!!!!! LOL :)

Hi Donna,
it wouldn't be the first time Andy's work had been ripped off on ebay.
For fun (?) I almost bought christmas presents a year or two back of Andy Ellis and Ron Digby unofficial merchandise. Prints, cards, even coffee mugs. Lovely.
Although in all seriousness, what a liberty.
What do they say about imitation being the sincerest form of flattery?
Best wishes,
Tony.

Item number: 260400504963
They're not actually fakes so far as I can tell, but anyone who wants one would save money (and be certain of the quality) if they contacted Andy or Donna --- I'd suggest Donna, far more attractive:yawinkle:

cheers tony!
I've spoken to the seller who says they're going to change the wording so it's obvious it's just mounted cards not prints- I'm fine with that as long as everyone knows what they're getting I'll check out the link to make sure.
