What would you say from the MARSHALL range only would be the best transmitter for a Gyr/Pere.
Look forward to seeing your replies.

Tail mounted, I would go for the PowerMax,it sits flatter against the tail and hugs the body line better and leg mounted I would go for the RTPlus, or you could tail mount with the Powermax and stick a micro on the leg as a backup.

I would say the RT plus but as an alternative try www.falconryelectronics.co.uk they are the best transmitters i have ever come accross, we fly at the royal armouries which is basically leeds city centre, lost a perlin we picked her up 3 mile away in a garden, behind a dustbin on a pidgeon we ahve used all marshall range there to powerfull for there own good. Sorry to be a little of subject but just an example.

I would go for the PowerMax
This is what i orderd today from Marshall not Garlands, i'am going to use it on a back pack.
I also got the Rt+ leg mount which i'am going to try ouy using the neck mount. Is this just a normal rubber band and droped over the head can you trust this way.

Its illustrated in Desert Hawking with a little help... They use braided elastic, sewn to form the correct size loop for the hawks neck. Most people in the UK just use elastic bands (2), hasn't used it myself so can't help Finnish.

You cant see the rubber band when its fitted as it sits under the feathers much like back pack straps do.
