example transmitter 2 or 3 year guarantee faulty after one year

you MUST give the retailer the chance to repair the item before asking for a replacement,, or you money back

many transmittters have non servicable parts and are sealed units, so a replacement is usually the course of action. A guarantee is not valid if the transmitter has been mistreated though - its valid for normal use only.

The warranty is null and void if you screw the cap down too tight and crush the crystal, ...you get it in the neck if you send it back and you have been using the wrong make or type of battery too ...

I think this is a escape goat for the manufactors. :twisted:
Why don't they design it so there isn't a possibility of this happening.

may be cos the top of the bat. tends to bend a bit and they have to be a perfect fit and the manufacturers cant allow for above and also the toughy who thinks they will give it just one more turn :lol: :roll: :lol:
I have been doing some research in to batts and testing different ones in diff. transmitters and they do make a lot of difference. Better the battery, the lot better the transmitter and receiver work!! :shock:

hi guys great replies got it sorted falconry electronics had a bit of a problem sorted now have to say excellent service 110% doubt if it could be bettered money well spent
