So in the aim of making Friday a bit more fun...........what is the worst book, article, piece of writing, information or act anyone has EVER seen in their falconry lives???

The more scathing the better

I really wish Bob Dalton would get a decent editor, or just stop writing

There was also a very **** article in the Times about hunts using 'falcons' to catch foxes (with the hounds 'flushing') to get round the ban.

I'm just about to sell some Falconry mascara - would that beat the falconry hammer??

I am going to get some falconry nails and screwdriver up to go with the hammer myself...you need a complete set of tools now don't you????

As for falconry nastys...most of the medieval/renaissance festivals around would go for a start...display falcons being eaten in front of whole crowds because the falconer not checking the area first for any local birds is enough to make me not want to see anymore!!!!!

I was wondering what you meant for a second there, until I realised you were in the US!! I used to do displays (not of the type you are describing) and although there were many hazards (dogs/pylons etc) The hawks being eaten by bigger hawks wasnt one of them!!
