when to put a ring on a barn owl

hi could someone please let me know what age to put a ring on a barn owl as i have some hatching now thanks

I put the ring down at the age of 12-14 days. That's the time when the eyes go a bit open. It may not be very easy to put it down. When it's to easy the chicks are not big enough. Always check the next day if they still got the ring.
