hi i got the camera out a bit ago and got a few snaps of the pair. im not much of a photographer with digis anway. the musket "punch" is getting more confidant by the day . he has eaten twice first meal 2 half grown mice 9.30 am of the lure as we had to go to the cla and again at about 10 pm .
picked him up at 9.15pm he weighed 5oz1/4 no intrest just wanted to be with us and in the midle of things. he through a cast at 9.30 in to jackies lap who was holding him wilst on ebay lol (had a good old laugh)
9.55 weighed him again 5oz1/8 cherpy getting louder tryed him with a mouse nothing tryed him with lure nothing.
back to ebay for him for a few mins........ tryed again about 10 mins and slow but came to the fist and scoffed a full mouse. 5 or so meters . second go very fast like a bullet no messing eat another mouse very pleased. now hes watching from the back of his chair having a rouse and putting over his crop.
not much to tell with "miff" shes put a third of her body weight on in a week . shes very friendly happy little imprint churpy and allways hungry. eaten aprox 9 mice and wild rabbit with supliment. shes had a look on ebay aswell.
oh yea sorry grif but i bought him an anglo indian hood from falcon originals it was not dear and is a perfect fit . he hates it but i knew he would . i have one of theres for a spar it has lasdted years and years so we have a pair now .

lol yep shes the little star of the future. but punch is the main man at the moment . hes been responding at 5oz1/8 for the last few days , this has had me a bit worred as it seemed to small . at one stage i had contacted the breeder asking to replace him with a larger musket from a differant clutch .he agreed and i left it that we would sort a meet to exchange birds , but now i would not swop him for a gos !!!
he is being asked to fly to the fist 4 times a day 2 morning 2 at night. i have mannaged to maintain his weight at a steady 5oz1/4 before cast and 1 hour carage on the fist putting him at aprox or dead on 5oz1/8 this has been the only weight he would respond to . once or twixce he has maintained this weight but has needed another 15 mins to half hour carrage leading to full yarak . his instinct to kill the imprint is uncontrolable at this point usually. untill today......
picked him up this morning 5oz1/8 dead. keenish but untryed 1 hour carrage. offered the fist and bang strait to it one full doc skinned and gutted . this was his first outside flight and you would think he had been doing it ages it was his best distance to a full 15 meters, big wow i know but small posative steps.
back to his bow i dont know why but he loves to lay next to his bow rather than sit on it , i think this is age based as i see it as imaturaty.

10pm picked him up as he looked ready you know what i mean you get to know there body lang . weighed him 5oz3/8 he went ape **** as he does wanting to kill miff in her tank baited at the food i left on veiw (like a dick) and setteled on the fist . this looks good i thought . plased him on the clothes airer with towel over it as a make shift perch and offerd a lump of rabbit BANG mad keen realy hard hit and very little mantle today. replaced him on the perch and moved out the room next door and called nothing!! again ,nothing so i had a look to se what was the problem and he was killing his jess like a tiny a snake . after a few very funny mins he worked it out and was focused on the job in hand . again bang big feed up and as long as he liked to pick at the shouldet bone of his prise.
im over the moon with this bird i truly love his personality and manerisoms.
question why is it what ever the speices what ever the weight and every thing else ioncluded i allways think this is my faverote bird so far 30 birds on and im still doing it . its funny i have never realy had expencive birds but no matter the value i all ways feel the same .
im talking like a tw@ now . anyway im off all the best matt

hi todays flying weight is......................................
da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
5oz 14 , very fast to the fist **** to the lure but soon came once i held it in gloved hand . i need some wings not the panty liner type lol. 1 as tearings 2 as lure garnish .
at this rate im gona have to enter him by the end of the week . so kitten bells on his feet this week and a bit more hood training (for all its worth on a bird that is to be thrown out car windows or sliped at pipets lark ect)
its getting better every day now he is steady as can be expected . and looking realy bright and fertive.
to you guys that have experiance enough to fly spars get a musket they are ace . massive massive personality, bold , fast as hell and realy pritty to look at . the weight thing is les of a problem than i thought at furst he is pritty easy to read and prodict . timing is alot to do with it of cause ,and hes not working that hard between meals. but hey its looking good so far.
miffs off her food a bitto day shes only eaten her on body weight the once lol no she was not much intrested at brecky but made up for it at dinner . they all had fresh still worm wild rabbit tonight (very nice) the sakeret behaved ok to small jump about sesion in the house fed on the lure and came a few meters to the fist .
thats all to tell today all the best

stigs ,blackys ,pipetss , dont laugh but snipe im hoping. even greys if i get the chance ....
thats what im gona fly him at but if he will take it thats another matter. who knows he could be a serious killer, im hopfull that i will just see some sport with him to be honest.
he is a soxcial/ dual imprint . he was creched for 3 weeks with his brothers put in an exclusion chamber with one other musket for about 3 days then i got him. he is being finnished off with 24 hour human contact in the house in soclusion . he wants to kill the other imprint so i have know idea what he thinks he is human or bird . but the out come is that he calls like an imprint and is about as steady as any other i have seen bar a few good goses.
he will be tryed at quarry by the end of the week weather permiting as he is fantastic to the fist and ready in my mind .
all the best matt
