Lee, Trying to track down a few longwingers in the BFC midland region that would be interested in attending field meets. If we can't find enough people to attend the meeting from the midland BFC region, the meets will be opened up to other regions.

Out of interest Carl, are the meets going to be held on Garlands ground
or do the BFC have new venues to fly.

I'm in the BFC midland group Carl and fly a tiercel Peregrine so I should qualify.
Not been to a BFC field meet for many years and not with a longwing I'd give it a go.

Hi Pete

No mate stopped flying gosses 2 years ago when my last female died egg laying. Figured 30 years flying them was enough and now maybe another 15 on the pointy ones should see me out.

New venues could even be a grouse meet Tezz. Just need the interest of members no point getting field meets organized if there is knowone to turn up.

Carl

I think that this could be the beginning of new chapter for the BFC Midlands longwingers. Best of luck and when I can I'll come along to spectate..........might even order a Tierce lfrom Mike T for 2010!!?? and going off topic slightly, there is a lot of interest in the Goshawk section too, especially amongst some of the newer members,

Good luck with it Carl, hope you get enough members to participate.
I was considering re-joining the BFC at the festival, now you mention
new venues and a possible grouse meet, considering has changed
