Further to the pound for pound thread, any good stories about multiple kills, have heard about a gos following pigeon into cover and coming out with one in each foot, any others??

Cheers

Had 11 rabbits in 1 1/2 hours. with a cast of HH.

First one within 1 minute of letting them go, 10 yards from the truck.

Not as much as the 14 we had at the end of last season :D

Mind you it did take all day.

Well trained and well hunted birds mate, they will hunt all day long and go home happy with a full crop. If you need any pointers just ask :D

PS, if you saw some of my rabbit land you would understand why multiples are so easy, its crawling with em and getting better as I type

down in bristol were also crawling in rabbits, as for pointers i dont need any its more about the quality of the flight as it is about the numbers in the bag as u might find out one day if u ever have the opportunity of flying a gos hawk . ps as for lincolnshire organized a trip for 18 people last year and it was absoutley fantastic natch

Couldn't agree more mate. Quality of flight is more important than the size of the bag. Trouble is, this thread isn't about quality flights its about multiple quarry so I posted accordingly.

I already get plenty of quality flights with my harris's so dont really need a Gos at the moment.

Some of the land I fly on has a real problem with rabbits and the farmers want to see some damage done. Fair enough you dont get to choose the decent slips but sometimes you got to show willing or loose the land to someone with a shotgun.

Get yourself back up here, the Hares are doing well this year as well.
