[Fenlands Rescue]

I have a 24 day old PR male pere/saker chick that is still being fed by the mother but saw it today holding a grown on thigh, pulling flesh off and eating it. Is this normal or pretty early at that age?
Just to advance my education.

Not worried Mark just trying to educate myself more. Just wondered if this is a normal age to be self feeding as I have no previous experience as you know.

No problem Mark. But this bird was actually feeding not just seeing what it was. Just seemed young to me , mind you I am normally wrong.
