Try pigeon burgers for the BBQ.....................
8 wood pigeon breasts, 3 rashers of streaky bacon, 2 shallots and half a dozen fresh sage leaves (both finely chopped).
Knob of butter and salt/pepper to taste.
Sweat down the shallots in the butter and leave to cool. Mince or coarse chop the pigeon and bacon. Add the now cold shallots and sage, and mix well together. Put in fridge for at least an hour; then form into 1/4" deep burgers.
Brush with a little Olive oil and cook until done on both sides, then serve with new potatoes, salad and a bottle or 3 of red wine (or any ALCOHOL of preference) :D :tonqe: :partyman:
