I will post a not so aesthetic photo (bird sitting on the ground in the pen) of my palest female RNS I bred this year. She is the first young female RNS I ever saw without markings on the trousers in immature plumage. Even the markings on the front are very fine and I hope that the whole front of this female will be without any markings after some moults.

To make it more visible what I exlained in my last post I will attach two photos of the same tiercel, one in immature plumage and one after the first moult. One can see how the markings diappeared. And now immagine how the female from the post above will loook like after some moults!!!

Hello Ingo,
you have a picture of a RNSxGyrxSaker on your site - interesting combination. Do you still fly this hybrid at the moment? Would be surely a nice pursuit bird as well as a game hawk, I suppose. Do you have some more pics of this species?

Hi Tobias,
here is a photo of my darkest RNS x gyr-saker. She was my first tribred like this. I bred her in 2008. She flies around 930 grams. Compact bird with nice feet. This year I bred 7 of them, three being very pale like the tiercel on the ground in the pen.

Ingo

Quite nice birds!
Have you flown them at game? What where the results? What is the flying style? Theoretically speaking, they must be fast birds with a powerful tailchase and also a good manoevrability?

Hi Monti,
I havenīt flown Lea on game but to the lure and in a pigeon abatement project but you described her quite well with your words. Stunning was the power in her strokes. After each stroke she shot visibly forward. Now after the moult she looks very interesting. I should make some photos of her.

My friend breeds RNS in Prague (czech republic). I think he still has some 2009 for sale, but I might be wrong.
