sorry for the delay, I tried to find a photo with eagle but I dont found
I hope your doubts resolve the loop is placed under the thumb, then with the same strip of leather is sewn the Jesse.
This method is widely used as safe and keeps the boot and turn jesse feathers of the tarsus.
