Red-tailed hawk moulting

There's a picture of the male red-tailed hawk 2007 I bought from Dan this last spring. While he's moulting, I'd the great surprise to see that the new feathers are quite paler than the old ones. If the rest look the same after the moult, I will have one quite pale RT! :-D
Right now, only some of the tertiary remiges have moult.
