Thanks Mark, funny you mention that. I started that hood in May 2008 and was not totally pleased with it. I threw it in my Prototype hood box and just packed it away. As I started working on the Cooler "N" Hell hood again I had to pull out all the prototypes and found the Khan "Sedona", just sitting in the box. I took it out, re blocked it, and decided to finish it these past few days.. I am pleased with the results..

Hello Dan, the hood is for a male gyr/per, female per, fe prairie. Too big for a male saker, but I could certainly make you one..I think the hood is spoken for?

Don't mind you asking, for a hood like that in the size you are looking for ,,without any paintings on the inside, the price would be 125.00 US plus shipping, 8.00 US . Sean did you see the pictures of the Cooler "N" Hell hood I put up?

Not sure a price,, the Cooler "N" Hell hood it is a tough hood to make, but it won't come in a multi colored scheme for now, just one color, ( I may offer a lizard) and a slightly fancier Dressed style.,, Practical? not sure, Justin said that too about the hood, I have sold almost 1,000 Khan hoods and many would not use anything else, personal taste I guess,

Thank you Lamont, not sure what you mean? There is no material, it is just tooled leather in between the color patterns? Hope this answers your ?

Just had a look on you site Ken and I have to say that I was pleasantly suprized at your prices, I have never looked before because I thought that the hoods would be a lot more expensive given the level of craftmanship, I will certainly be ordering a Hood from you in the immediate future, probably a tooled Kahn, how long does it take from ordering to getting to the UK

Thank you Sean, I think most are surprized at my prices. Yes I do make some expensive ones with the paintings etc.but as I stated 125.00 or 77.76 UK Pounds or 89.90 Euros for a 9 colored hood is fair price. In fact, I see what other hood makers charge for their hoods and I would say my prices are EXTREMELY GOOD. Most of my hoods are under 100.00 US and with the exchange it makes them affordable to many.
As for time frame.. Really depends on how busy I am with orders. I take and finish orders as they are received, that way it keeps things fair. Shipping? I have had hoods get to the UK in under 8 days, the mail can be funny..

I have finished the 9 colored Khan and it now has a new home. The hood was made to fit a Male Gyr/Per and by chance the falconer that got the hood flies one. I asked him to bring me a few of the falcon's molted feathers. The hood was then fitted with leather braces and the feathers were added to the turks knot on the ends. Here is the finished 9 color Khan.
