yes this article is indeed very good! In fact I wanted to post this one on the forum some week ago...but could not find the link back in my favourites. The reason why i wanted to post: it is mentioned in the text of this link that somewhere in Russia they fly goshawks in some way of waiting on style! just read it. Very interesting.

good article....but one thing is a little bit weird - " The maximum wingspan of a Goshawk female is 395 mm, of a male - up to 348 mm (Воїнственський, Kістяківський, 1962). "....it is probably a mistake because I don't believe there is a goshawk with more than 3 metres (nearly 4m) wingspan.

yeah mate must have been a mistake and the lad got his calculations wrong :D he must have been drunk and measured an eagle of some type

It is mm not cm! 395mm is 39.5cm = 0.395m.
