Tail tips look as though they are wet rather than damaged too much
If I were to say anything about the tail tips I would say that they have had mutes on then and the lime has eaten away at the feathers.

Cant remember the guys name he is from Holland and comes to the Welsh Hawking Club field meet each year where everyone calls him roger and asks how nookie is he hasnt the faintest idea what we are going on about but just nods his head and sais he is fine thanks for asking.

Is it a experimental hybrid like a HH/Ferrug? a guy i heard of mixed a HH and a goshawk but they died. these experimental hybrids usually dont last to long and die young bu some live a long time.

If you are talking about the white part of the mutes it is uric acid not lime.

This is an immature black chested buzzard eagle (chilean blue) and the picture is archive from falconiformes holland.

Geranoaetus melanoleucus, Aguja, Blue Chilean Eagle, Black chested Buzzard Eagle, Black Chested Eagle Buzzard, Cordillian Eagle, call it what you want, still the same bird. Got 5 or 6 names in Germany alone!
