Well, during reading Moses posts and talking about house, I am interesting how much money cost one decent house (nothing high exclusive) in the UK, somwhere on country, or piece of land to build the house?

I live in an area with quite low house prices compared to others.

Terraced town house £80K to £110K
Semi detatched suburbs £140K upwards
Detatched in the country £200K upwards
Building plot £90K upwards.

Liam

1/3 of an acre goes for about £20,000 up here. Plenty of crofts available too.
Probably why so many people from down south have moved up here recently.

You understand fine Jastreb, reason i asked was to put salaries and house prices into perspective for you.
A good tradesman in the UK will earn in the region of 15000 kunas per month.

I've just been offered a job on a site in London, £35/hr, work 50 paid 60, £100 a night for digs and food. 5 year contract. Thats working away though.

A spark can earn a grand a week within an hours drive from where I live.

Would you believe a spark to trade. Gave it up many many years ago as there was no money in it.
Sparks and plumbers up here (got 2 mates) are doing very well if they get £100 a shift including their bonus

man some of your guys salaries put me in the shade :D haha

jastreb my good friend, u can buy a nice house in glasgow, scotland is the place u wanna be if u wanna feel home, nice and awesome people

u can get a flat in a nice area from 60k upwards to 140 for a luxury or even less

a nice house any price from 80 thousand to 150000 for a 3 bedroom

250 a month in croatia a wage , my friend food and bills r shocking in the uk u need to earn alot of money to survive, sometimes its hand to mouth for some people, our country has become a nanny state and people go on the dole meaning supported by the government, fit people who cant be bothered to work, breed kids and we have to pay through our tax's basically we need to pay for them, and they defraud and enjoy life and go for nice holidays to ibiza 4 times a yr

thats why we need to work harder to bring up the dole scroungers children and their parents :D

if u wanna move, move to islamabad u will luv the falconry and u can live on 250 a month in pakistan, man u will be living like a rich person :D

i know some people lucky sods, who live here during the summer and go their for 6 months when its winter here :D they get rent from their shops and flats a month in the uk and live luxury in another country

lucky ******s

my friend my post isnt towards genuine people who cant find a job to suit their previous jobs and r working hard and trying to get somewhere

its against scum and social parasites who dont, makes us sick dont it when we work day and night but they enjoy the high life, alkies hmm they luv their drink and get paid for it by the government, scumbags who r just too lazy to work, sit their ***** down and money comes via post and more kids they breed more the benefits, like a bloodsucking parasite on the flesh, sad thing is we let it happen, they get to wear their designer gear and go on hols 4 times a yr , yes it makes me mad i aint been on a holiday for 9 yrs and being a business owner , when u go through hard times, government doesnt help u, they still vat their tax and vat but hey they would help scumbags but not look after business's who employ people who wanna work hard but rather spend it on bombing another country and giving high wages to council folk and hit us with massive council tax bills every year and they rather pay a silly artist half a million for a stupid art for the town centres like a metal face or silly ornament, they got enuff money to look after the dole scroungers, why do we need to pay for them.

i hope u understand mate, im all for genuine proud people who cant find a decent job and r disables and elderly, they deserve the help not the majority we see on the street driving bling cars and enjoying life

cheers

lol new kid sounds good dont it, croatia sounds cheap to live :D i like it just rent out a flat here and the profit u get it will raise your family in croatia

My folks live in the next town to me (Leamington Spa), 12 miles south of Coventry. They bought their 3 bed semi 29 years ago for £10 grand. It's now worth £285 thousand. ........ Ripoff!

There's an old Hotel in South Leamington that got sold 2 years ago and turned into flats. The cheepest there is £158 thousand for a 1 bedroomed, first floor flat on a main road with no garden, oppposite an all night night club, next to a train station!!!!!!!

Food for thought. Some nice, cheep places in West Wales though!
