Quite poor when compared to A Hawk for The Bush or any of the Desert Hawking books.

Never read any of the desert hawking books. Didnt know there was much in them about gosses. Are they worth buying?

Desert hawking 3 has a chapter on goshawks with plenty on coopershawks.

1 and 2 are mainly about coopers - but all 3 are good reading.

Have a look at "northern goshawk" and the "imprint accipiter" as well as frank bebes "complete falconer" & "modern falconry", hope this helps mate. Also be on the lookout for "phantom of the forest" video....Nick.
