Hello, as in the title, I'm from Guildford in Surrey and it would be good to get in contact with any falconers from the area, especially if they fly either Common Buzzards or Redtails. If they don't mind someone tagging along and of course helping out then please reply here/PM me. I have my own transport so travelling a little further afield isn't a problem, as useful as this forum is, nothing beats getting out and meeting people/their raptors!

Cheers, I posted in the Introduction bit, I thought I would also post here, so anyone from this area may be able to get in contact. Basically though I would like to get into falconry, I've had various discussions etc... and have a good idea of what it involves. When I'm ready (hopefully a year's time but who knows?) I would like to get a broadwing, so either a Common Buzzard, Harris Hawk or Red tailed hawk/buzzard. I haven't had the chance to see a CB or RT up close and flying so thats the reason for this topic, to see what each of those BOP's is like by meeting up with a falconer who flies them before coming to a decision on which would be best for me.
