right ben he flys at 1.6 to 1.7 i dont use a hood on him as he is verry steady he has no agresion at all i entered him by feeding him a diet of fresh rabits and feather for the weeks leading up to him being free so he had already wedded to them as food he is very quiet and still has his manners that he had at the begining, he has played with tennis balls through the moult(to stop any bore dom)bearing in mind he is a imprint and needs stimulation ,he plays for hours killing his balls and bits of wood , and he is free flighted im so pleaed with his progress his only fault is that when i go in to chat with him he loves to sit on my shoulder and talk to me i was never a fan of imprint harris hawks, but before imp i had imprinted spars and barneys aswell as kestrels but what a joy he is to have  :supz:

Sakermad: Can you go into the way in which you imprinted him in a little more detail?? What problems did you encounter and what would you do differently etc etc.......

ive had no problems up to now with him and i would imprint the same way again its the only way i know handle let other people handle him and get him used to all the dogs and noises of everyday life ,started of on doc and quail progressing to rabbit and pheasent crow and magpie i gave him fresh shot game when he was getting close to entering he was free flighted once out in avery and just gave him alot of patience and socialised with him everyday ive done a few imprints kestrels .owls and spars and have never had a screemer now he will come to me with or without food thats about it really
