Hi, sorry if this is a really stupid question but does Falconry Originals still exist? I've visited the website and their price list was dated 05/06 so I emailed them to ask for an up to date version but haven't heard anything back. I can't find anything about them on here either

I ordered two extra small eagle gloves at the Falconry Fair in 2008 - I'm still waiting. In fact, I've given up and I no longer recommend them to any of my clients.
There are several others who's idea of selling stuff is actually to provide goods in exchange for money. Try Westweald, Due North, Falcon Fabrication, IBR or my current favourite Rhuallen Raptors.

i have ordered equipment from a number of these falconry equipment manufacturers, and waited and waited and waited.i have phoned and checked what the hold up is and there is aways some dumbfounded excuse.i think because they have a name in falconry that they don,t need to provide any service. Clearly they don,t know what customer service is.

Yeah, Ray seems like a cool sort of a guy
I was actually looking for a nice falconry bag, the one I have at the moment is huuuuge on me (I'm only 5' 2 and it's like half my size! lol)
I don't need it for carrying game, just food and a dummy bunny. I'd seen one on falconry originals website that looked good, but does anyone know of any other nice looking ones that aren't enormous for petite girls like me? XD
My brother is in desperate need of perches too, nice heavy ones.

Lol I laughed at your bag comment as I have the same trouble! Looks like im dressing up in mummys clothes  I can never get one that looks ok and they all end up swinging around my knees so I wear a vest instead and its brilliant and doesnt end up caught up when climbing over gates and walls etc.

I always look like a total idiot when I'm leaning over trying to get food out. Not a good look! lol I'll borrow my brother's vest and see how I get on... although him being 6' 4 (yeah he got all the tall genes grrrr) that'll probably look quite silly too!

I've always had first class service and equipment from Chris at Falconry Originals. On one occasion he had taken down my credit cards details incorrectly but still sent me the kit. I think very few people would do that these days. Naturally I sorted the card details out immediately he informed me of the problem.

i'm always looking for ways to improve my products and services, i will happily make a smaller falconry bag, even if you dont buy it i'll make a couple anyway, they may prove popular.

I am the same as yourself. The service from Chris has always been top notch. I called him from work and placed a decent order , but when I went into my pocket for my ,I had left it in the house. The order still arrived the next day.

Hi
Just to put the record straight Chris is a personal friend of mine and a family member has been in hospital for an operation.
Not wanting to go into any detail I am sure supplying furniture has not been at the forefront of his mind.
I will add all went well and its business as usual.
Another snippet of information if you want a speedy service call Chris as I handle all of his emails as Chris is a technophobe, so your email may not be dealt with as swiftly as you would like.
Call him and it will save me hours of time, thanks :) Tel 01427 628439 home or the workshop number is 01427628511
The price list which is on the website 05/06 is still current and not had an increase in 4 years.
Rainbow I did pass on your address for Chris to post you a price list and catalogue as you requested, apologies for the delay.

No worries, Clive, thanks for for letting me know. The postmen have gone on strike now!! If that online price list still stands I'll use that. Can't believe he hasn't had a price list since 2005!! That's unbelievable.
Cheers,

Hi Avril
I have spoken to Chris today and mentioned the thread on here.
like i said he does not do computers but his furniture is the best and can not be the most expensive if he has not had a price increase in 4 years :)
if you get chance just give him a call .....he will welcome your order.
Many Thanks
Clive

I ordered the "Islay Large Deluxe" Hawking Bag from Falconry Originals a few weeks back, I sent a cheque through the post to the address on the website, it came within 3 days, which is fast considering the cheque..
The bag is absolute top quality, the workmanship is excellent and you can easily for two or three rabbits in. I'd definately recommend it..
All the best..
