hers a few pic we took today of mia the gos who has been out of the moulting mews for just over a week have not tried to drop her weight yet but she is steady as a rock at 3lb 2 oz but she will probely fly at around the 2 12/14 mark this year the puppies are running around like tazmanian devils but miais not botherd :drinkers: not even a single bate :shock:http://i4.photobucket [img]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/puppiesmia.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/miaonblock.jpg .http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/maviandmia.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/morganandmavi.jpg... and our new little charge the musket parent reared weighing in at 6oz and a quarter picked him up this afternoon and as you can see has no choice but to settle in like all the other birds in our house you have to put up with everything which is not a bad thing when you start manning :lol:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/morganandspar.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/spar.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/sparandmog.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/spar.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/0e8534fd.jpg thanks to andy peel for his hostpitalty and equipment   :drinkers:

Wait till he gets down to hunting weight at first, I would keep him away from your son at that time. Good luck with him, its a shame his wasn't already going, plenty of sport on the moors at present but all will be gone in a couple of weeks.

sorry goose here it is http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y145/darkbluefalcon/hawkpost.gif my gos took to it within a hour or so harries tent to take a bit longer the jees must reach the edge of the to but does not extend so if they do bate they turn around and end up on the other side of the post but rememer a sick or weak hawk shouls never be put on this post and i personly would not leave it on there when i was not around as for the hight thats down to you i have had them 1.5 meters intialy then down to a meter once settled ...the top either astro turf or leather again personal preference i think that was all you asked ?????????

Hello Gary,
Never flown a musket (either p/r or imprint), would like to know how you go on with him. A friend was flying an imprint musket this year, killed second day after being entered - hit a wire strand in a hedge in hot pursuit of quarry.

Jim.
