Hi all

A bit of advice from the more experienced among you please. I am / was due to take my RT on the 14th of this month. Its my first hawk so I'm a bit nervous / excited !! The guy who is building my mews has just done his back in and won't be able to finish it by the time the hawk is due to arrive. He'll be 18wks if he arrives on schedule, assuming I can finish his mews( not good with wood !) If I left him with the breeder and parents for a couple of weeks before taking him, would I face any major manning / training problems ?
Cheers

Ade

I'm with Andy, late rather than early.

From what I've learned, if the breeder has separated the bird from the parents, thats ok or even good.

I just finished my avairy/mews.

My bird has been separated from the parents for around 2 weeks, still at the breeders. I'll pick him up from the breeder next week after one more quick weekend trip.
