Hannah the best person for this is SJ. This is my first time using a kite. therd time today. It gets your bird very fit for one and get's him to mount.

the kite can be a versatile bit off kit that has a number of uses from training the bird to gain height to training the bird to stoop or fitness ttraining.....it all depends what you want from it hence my question Lee..it can also be the best tool you have as a recall...............

Yes still on the kite but no lure he mounts really well and high and comes straight to the lure. So all is good he is waiting on nice looking at me not the kite so we will have to see.

lee , with the site going down last week I cvant remember if I Pm'd you or not( please feel free to give me a bell). any way sounds like he is going really well. just one thing , try to think more of the pcsychology , ie if you have stooped him to the lure, do this hard t the beginning of your session, then let him rest while you kte another hawk/ do something else for an hour or so to let him recover, then kite him ( he will find kiting much easier than stooping to the lure) when you start hunting with him do the same thing when hunting, ie replace the stooping session with hunting.
