New "Tait Block" Hoods @ M-J Hoods

I have been lucky enough to aquire a friends set of Tait blocks...... these blocks are "Top" of the range as many of you may know...... so I will not be making many of these hoods per year and I will only be making "exotic" skin hoods from the blocks..... here is an example of my first hood from these blocks..... its made from yellow "Whip snake".... the hood was made on Block 15 (Large Pere Tirecel or similar).

These hoods are going to be £80 each with standard skins......the more expensive the "exotic" skin the more expensive the hood..... for example I will be getting some Ostrich "leg" skin very shortly.....rare stuff..... so I dont know how much that will be as an extra expense at the moment.

Steve Tait, the US hood maker, sells his "Collectors" Lizard or Toad skin hoods for $175 - $225 depending on the skin used. So I am setting his prices as a bench mark.
