went outonight weighed jet and he was 140 gms got out the car very cold head wind so dropped down into more shelterd wood not much happed till i got out and walked over a burrow and a rabbit popped up and off he went down a hole luckly it waxs a disused badgers set so easy to call him out so i fed him on the lure and came home got him indoors and fed the rest of the food on the glove but he started to miss the food and go wobbely so i put him on the floor on my glove and he kept missing the food and stated to wobble again. i mixed up some glucose and gave him a little of that and also some b111 multivitimen he perked up a little but is sleepping at the mo should i wake him in half hour intervels or let him be... he had half a mouse this morning and 3/4 of a chick on the lure any ideas anyone.....he did feed on pigeon breast yesterday thet he caught

he said do what i done may have been a little hypoglycaemic but he is up and about now....wind was cold and he did fly hard so not good combo for little man...

he ok me having heart attack..you know when you fly these little rockets it can and probley will happen but even if you think your prepared still ***** you up..the thing was it wasent a fit just disorintation like us if we run low on sugar

Glad he's making a recovery. What sort of weight reduction was needed with him ? is he sharp ?

he is a ok ...he was ok when i spoke gaz only started once i got back but he fighting fit again to day :lol: gaz did ya get la--d last nite :finga:

started him at a 145gms jim and he enterd at 139 ..but when we went out last night we were out for longer and it was a lot colder

Yes this cold weather has made a difference, I can now feed the spar a good size crop of quail and still make weight the following - this has made her so much better to own and fly. I can imagine how difficult a p/r or imprint musket would be to fly in a cold wind for extended periods of time - I take my hat off to you Gary with the success you've had with him, best of luck for the season. Will you be flying him much longer now the gos is ready ?

cheers jim ill fly him as long as i can maybe just an hour a day before i fly the gos but if we have a cold winter i will put him away i dont want to risk him i may think i know what im doing but i dont want to risk a musket at hunting weight during the winter..
