i know it used to be ace-everyone used to go from miles around up to malam-it got hit hard a few years ago by mixy-i went up last season and it still hadent recovered- dont know how it is this year though?

what are you flying mate-im not to far away from you.

Try MALHAM, yes there are stil plenty of rabbits on certain parts. But too many people who buy harris hawks with no hunting permission just turn up and walk on the land like it a free for all.

The further towards Arncliffe you get the better it is but its not like it was once.

There are still good patches up there, if you fancy staying over night you can stay in one of the barns the farmer charges £5 and you stay with the walkers.Had some great days up there but if windy not a chance your flying your bird like a kite on your fist.

Im flying a secon season female harris mate.

We hired the 'bunk barn' out for a weekend last year, and to be honest i was pretty disapointed to be honest.

Dont know whats up there this year, wouldent mind a day out there if anyone fancys it?

I;ll have a day out if you fancy it. Just took a guy out from the forum this morning, his bird hadn;t caught anything and he was getting a bit fed up. Second rabbit bolted she caught it. I think hes over the moon, he took some photos so i think they will be on the web later.
Its nice to give some one a helping hand know and again.
I've told him he needs some ferrets just to put more quarry up for her so she can get the hang of it a bit quicker. Mine caught two thats all i take each day i go out as theres no point in killing the place. 14 rabbits a week is enough for anyone LOL.
