There is this grip u use to put on a hurling stick that it similar to the grip you would put on a hockey stick, but a little bulkier. its leather and soft under the leather. it autamaticly sticks to anything. I am going to reperch my bow as it seems a little thin. When i eventually get a few pics going ill post em up.

Why do you want to use it instead of astroturf? Do you want to glue your bird to the perch?

because its leather, which would be easier cleaned and its sticky in the inside not the outside lol, also easier to put on that say a bike tyre or a peice of leather

I don't like to use astroturf on a bow perch as the ring tends to stick as it tries to pass over it, rubber or leather is my prefered option for covering on a bow perch.

I also don't like astroturf either. Hurling grip seems like an ace idea, but I dont think it is a good one to use, as there are too many little holes in it. This can cause claw damage.

Hi HM, the reason i thought this would be good is because it would put pressure on different parts of the leg in different places everytime he stood on it. similar to a rubber tyre as a perch, I assume you mean he can get his claws in the holes and maybe break one? Ive got a roll of grip here but i dont think i will use it now lol. And it doesnt have holes in this grip, like the pictures grip, instead it has writing on it

There is a 99% chance it never will give hassles, but in my experience if there is a chance of a claw getting stuck under in the little holes then IT WILL HAPPEN!
