Both myself and Andrew Ellis will be attending the Leon Sky Trials over the weekend of the 9th to the 12th of October. We are both looking forward to meeting Spainish falconers attending this event.

Hi Carl, we visited the same event in 2004, it is very well organized and the people welcoming. You will have a great time I'm sure, you will get to see what those little Brookie peregrines can really do.
We are flying out to the UAE for 8 days tomorrow morning, looking forward to it.

Both myself and Andy are really looking forward to it except the ferry over and back. Have a good trip to the UAE may plan to go there next year.

sounds like another great event that i will be wanting to attend someday,,, it would really be nice some day if falconers could travel internationally with our birds,,,

and the winner was ...( with peregrine falcon) fly the snipe a member of this forum with a bird bred by a friend of mine claude rigo also a member of this forum
half spanish brookei , half turkish one , brother from my falcon:yawinkle:( just as good)
that bird has caught 2 or 3 jackdaws not bad isn't it ? first season,that bird flies like a wild one

Carl it was a great trip and I did quite well!! lots more prints sold than I expected.

Nebli, Thanks for the info on who won the event for the Peregrines group what about the
other catagories ?
Have you any photo's of the winning bird??

i will post a thread about the event and some of my photo's too. I and Carl have been
very busy since we returned and have not had chance to thank everyone involved
and to post images.

Miguel Vélez, chief judge of the event, told me to put here the clasification both for peregrines and other falcons (namely hybrids or any other). I put it on attached files. The document for peregrines are in english, i have no time of translate the hybrids one, that is on spanish.
