im not trying to start a slanging match i assure ya...infact i was not going to post anything here about it !!

but please be carefull what you post on other non hunting forums...every one that comes here knows they may see pics of animals and birds taken by our hawks and falcons....we know they eat little yellow fluffy day old chicks.....
but thats because its a hunting site.

we have enough to worry anout anti's any how without helping them with there plight...

will this poster on this forum please edit or remove the topic....if only out of respect to the person that has taken offence to it being there....its not evey ones cup of tea....and will only do harm

not once did you say in the whole thread how time consuming falconry is and whats involved

I can't see the photos posted, but i saw Terras name so i am assuming they were my brothers and my photos? Did you ask permission for any of the other photos either?


oh and "their a lad called coldzero's he is only 15 he has a harris and a redtail, i think thats his brothers, an englishboy, got their own farm and all nice." I have one RT and i am 17, my brother just took some ofthe photos you used...

there is a lot of pics of your red....and if it was just the ones with her looking good....well no worries....but there are some of a rabbit taken....the weasal ones of the harris taking crows on the wing....even one of a spar taking a pigeon in a gutter....

impreesive pics of nice looking birds offend no one....but some of them might offfend some !!!
and posting as a falconer supposlively knowing his stuff.... some of the comments are way off the mark...

sorry just noticed the last part, didnt post as a falconer if u read the posts properly mate, never did my mate wullie asked if it was legal to own hawks and i answered and told him what hawks, buzzards and falcons

mate at the time i thought other lads will luv the pic of terra i loved them so much and wanted to share it with them a pity i should have asked first when kay a friend said she doesnt like feeding with chicks part and for a joke i put up pics of lil chicks and said they need to eat its their food

and cz regarding that question about falcons and harris, mate its out of context if the thread is still their, carina said she always gets a visit from a merlin in her garden always sits their and i said dont let the sizes of falcons fool u basically their smaller but faster and deadly, it wasnt in the feeding sense a falcon will kill a hawk to feed, it was about the ability in a fight in a humans sense a peregrine which is faster and while dive down on its prey and a hawk where it uses its talons and peregrines and other falcons which fly higher, if u know what i mean, i got a funny way of explaining stuff and i hope u understand mate, it wasnt meant it would kill it for food

for example if we talk about bears and tigers, who would win i would say a bear coz its stronger and tiger may be fierce and faster but one slap from a bear will break a tigers back

in that sense i said dont think the smaller falcon aint powerful enuff coz the buzzards and hawks maybe bigger, the falcons can take down a small deer

and im so sorry again mate, just loved your pics and your redtail as u know yourself first thing i did was ask u what camera u used and what settings and pixels when u told me it was actually an slr 135mm , im a big fan of your bird and photo's mate
