has anyone from the surrey area lost a peregrine hybird this is a young bird poss this years nice freindly bird loves sparrows as he was sitting in a stable catching any around him

if so please let me know what area of surrey you lost it so it can be returned also peregrine with telemetry reported in the surrey area as well not cought but doing well so far on the downs at epsom

i lost a pere/lanner a couple of months ago from Buckinghamshire-she had telemetry on her leg....

Have you taken any pics of her Matt? Can you post up on forum?

will get pic of him/her when down at the center this week as i had to rent a hacking house out for till i build a new aviary in our garden this one being for any rescued lost bird that comes up

bcf007 if you would like i can take you to where the peregrine is as it seem to be hang around the same area only thing is it will be a hit and miss to getting near it my number has been given out to most house holds in the area as i dont give up or wait till i get it also if you let me know if it has microchip i can scan it once i have it just let me know dont need the number just a yes or no will do then if and when i get it will pm you the number

not microchipped mate but ibr ring on her-she responds well to the thunderer whistle-well used to lol

My lanneret f**ked off the other day but got him back within 5hours. Was following the wind up a bl*ody treck of a hill!! :D
I was so pleased when i got him back :D My emotions wer all ova the place beforehand!!

been out there today to check and has move into the tadworth estate from what i can make out still looks heathy but my have one up as it seem to go back to the wooded area on the downs for the night so going to check it out sunday evening to find its roosting area

need to have a look through binoculars matt & see if you can see the transmitter-mine is a blue one on the right leg if i remember

just to say i will get on to this once my fingers are repaired in four to six weeks as i fell out of a tree just hope nothing happen till them

I read in a book about someone getting a female goshawk back after 3 years. A pinhole in her flying jesses caught in barbed wire, and a gamekeeper rescued her.

I really do hope you get her back mate. I do a lot of this recovery work up in the North. Its great when I can get a bird back with its owner.

well not been on for a bit due to the fall i had needing an op to get feeling back in two fingers so lost track of it someone was ment to cover but cba as he was to cold sorry was hoping to put an end but still open
