I've had a Wild disabled female Peregrine now for a couple of years. She has a broken wing and was adult when handed in. My friend has recently received a Wild disabled tiercel with a little wing damage. I'm not sure how permanent this damage will be. The tiercel is this years bird. How soon can Peregrine Tiercels breed. If the bird remains in captivity, will it be 2006,2007 or 2008.
many thanks,
Keith.

Hi,
he will start at about 3 to 4 years of age. Some even start at 2 years.

Yeah my m8 has an injured young tiercel. Think it wacked itself into a fence and stripped away most skin under the wing. Seems to be healing up brilliantly now and he's starting to bring the wing up more now. Not draping it anymore. Fingers Crossed its a success story and can go back into wild when trained to hunt!
