Has anyone here ever exported a bird?
A chap who is at university near me had seen the advert for my perexgyr/saker on the internet & wants to take her back to Kuwait with him.
I shall be ringing DEFRA in the morning but would like some feedback from people who have already done it.
Cheers

You need an export certifcat, articel 10, health certivicat 48 hourse befor shipping. The guy needs to get an import permit for kuwait. If I forgot something please someone add. It takes about 3 weeks for all of that.

Jastreb, I think that is what you have to do. It depends how fast your governemt body works, in the UK defra have to do it in 3 weeks max.
Gunther: you will need hunting permission from the ground owner. The best thing to do is book a hawking holyday. You can fnd them wth google.
BFC007 good luck wth the shpping hope the bird does not die.
