hi all, i'v just got back from hawking in the highlands and for those of you that have been before you will know it wasn't easy to leave,
i had some great sport plenty of rabbits and hares for the harris and plenty of grouse for the falcons (not that i gaught one) but i did see some amazing flights the the chap we werew staying with and his f peregrine
i se now why grouse hawking is the pinical of faconry,seeing how fast,strong and cunning the grouse are really gave me alot of respect for those people that fly them with success,
