my new hawking vehicle

well seeing as i work in car sales i like to have a nice car but that dosent fit with my hobby! trying to get a bird in the back of an m3 convertible just dosent happen! .. hmm reading that back i think ive just set my self up for some witty comment! .... so anyway i went out and got a car that i could use when i want to go out hawking and thought id show u guys!

its a freelander td4 commercial, seems to fit the bill great, despite peoples remarks its off road capabilitys are suprisingly not bad, just lacking a little in ground clearance but with a wind down rear window ( great for hawk ventilation ) a removable roof ( perfect for shooting on a night ) and removable targa style roof ( perfect for slipping a rook hawk from the drivers seat! ) im supprised more falconers dont have one!

haha .. its a lightweight plastic bonnet mate, wouldnt want to risk dinting it, passenger seat goes back a long way tho and the 'head' room is great with the roof off! ;)

I got rid of mine a few years ago now, I like the e46 but I just feel that everyone has a bmw now, the same with the new Porsche, getting to common.

well to be honest as i am in the trade i got it from the 4x4 auctions .. i stole it! paid 3250 for it! book value on the car is £6200 so i can run it for a while and when the time comes sell it, take some profit out of it and then toddle off down to the auctions again and get something else!

glad it degenerated addi mate. we found out we had more in common than just your missus...lol ...a similar sense of humour and an anality for the welfare of our birds...
