My 2007 Gos Imprint Donor

Here is my imprint donor I bought in 2007 from Austria as brown bird. He copulated in 1st season on my back, head and fist, 2nd season SEX MACHINE!
I put him on the perch cos I am finishing new big breeding set of aviaries for gos breeding. He didn't eat today much and I put him on the scale 845 grams!!! A bit to high for him LOLOL but not even one bate or chittering at all!
I put lots of efforts in him and LOTS OF GAME BIRDS! That's the way to go!!!!!

This year I bought imprint female from same breeder. Top hare hawk, took 1st yesterday after looong chase....extremely strong she missed 1st 4 times and killed in 5th attempt after good 400 meters fight!!!!!!

Jase I hope to have good breeding season. Brown female is now totally converted on me, vocal before flying, calm and gentle after hunting, touching my hands very gently :wink:

All in all, I caught MANY game birds with this male in 1st season, his 2nd season ( 2008 ) was EXTRAORDINARY specially on Greys and showed great potential on ducks even when they started to pump their wings not only in rising. Very confident and VERY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS PHEASANTS! He is now too valuable for me for hunting so I left him at home. He showed me what he has :wink:
My plan is to produce some goses and definitely try to specialize some advantages from this line. Specially males for bird hawking.

What a stunning gos and what a hawk. I would really like th hear about your conditioning for a semen donor and your thoughts on this. I'm sure you will be successful with the breeding as you have put in a lot of groundwork. Happy hunting and best wishes for the future.

I hope to have few nice youngsters in the future. This is my ex female. Great mum, from incubating to rearing.....still I like aggression and hunting abilities from this pair I have now, btw thanks to my friend from Austria CHabich :D

Not good I'm sad to say. Problems occurred on every batch of quail. The first group was probably lost to predators, another group drowned in a flash flood, and the last group suffered due to overcrowding in the surrogator. I've suggested that we make a smaller version specifically for a group of about 50 quail. The idea is to have more smaller releases of birds. We'll see if any of the released birds make it in a couple of weeks. Gun hunting season opened yesterday.
