I went on holiday for 2 weeks and my mhh was in the aviary all the time i came back and wanted to fly him as much as i could because he hadnt flew for a fortnight
so i manned him for 2days after coming back so i took him out flying and he was in a tree so i called him down as it was last bit of chick and we were going home so he came down tried to pinch it off me and fly ack up into the tree
could anyone give me advice plz
(should i do some more manning for a few days)

If your bird was flying at the weight it was before you went away try a but more manning. Another option some people might do would be to drop its weight by 1/4 oz to see if that works. but if you where me i would put more manning in to him first to see if that would work.

Good luck and let me now how it goes
All the best

You obviously had the weight wrong. He may have been too light and weak after such a long lay off, or just plain too heavy to want to bother to hunt. If he wasnt flown all that time a couple of days back on the creance learning some discipline, or doing high jumps as well as just manning.

This sort of hting happens what i would say is that your bird dosent think his reward is worthy of his efforts so is trying to get you to produce more food the way to over come like everyone has suggested could be one of two things firstly cut weight i personally dont like to rely on this method for falconry the object is to succesfully fly a bird and hunt at a good weight however some times dropping quarter of an ounce can be good.
Personally i would suggest manning a bit more 2 days is not a lot after a couple of weeks away also only do a couple of flights with good rewards should get things sorted good luck, enjoy the sport

good advise....agree a bit more manning, slight weight off.......on a kill............recall only the few times not multiple.......

trouble is, if manning is just sitting around on the glove eating bits of chick, why should he bother to fly. short flights for a reward as in high jumps or creance, perch to glove will help with fitness, help judge his reactions at the weight he is. Then you can drop weight if he wont respond. Manning can be done as well.

what i was thinking are you feeding the bird on the fist when it is in the aviary or are you throughing the food on the floor if you feed the bird on the floor when you are not flying it, it will not wont to come to the glove even if it is the right weight because its loseing that bond with you so would b rather fed on floor .keep maning and feeding on the glove all will b well.
