Bad picture to show color, but it appears to have a little orange to it, so It could be a Barbary.

not a barbary, not a red shaheen, doesnt look like a black shaheen, dont think its a hybrid, probably a falco peregrinus of some sort, theres so much variation even with peregrinus/peregrinus never mind the numerous sub species.why? is this a quiz? do you know or do you really want to know?

Living in scotland myself i have to admit i have seen and experienced (for my sins) a fair few fat aresd hairy english birds as well. Where does that put things but i suspect we are not talking about peregrines any more?

is it a peales peregrine?

Wilfred

yes. it is peales was stated here also before
actually you can see from the darkness of the juvenile plumage that it is a peales..apart from size. I do not know whether all young peales are coloured exactly this way or whether there are also other shadings/more brighter or so with peales.

Can anybody here please tell me? I knew the falcon on picture is a peales since i have seen quite some pictures of same dark juvenile Peales. But like i said do not know whether there are also brighter peales in juvenile plumage.
