Is bird flu anything for falconers to worry about? Especially those who hunt crows etc....

I would have thought the birds who were flown at migratory birds would be the most at risk - ducks and the like?
As far as I'm aware it needs contact with an infected bird or their faeces to transmit. Some stuff here:

i would think everyone who hunts any bird that roosts near to wildfowl should be concearned. any bird in contact with the infected could contract it. a very sad time ahead. Altho they are saying that it'll prob miss us this winter but to watch out in the spring
