I spoke to my mate today he bought a male harris hawk same time as i bought my female harris from same breeder.He went out with his hawk today and got it following on it landed on a telegraph pole and got a real belt from it my mate said it was like a bolt of lightning and the bird just dropped to the floor like a sack of spuds when he went running over thinking it was surely dead it hoped to its feet and flew up a tree after 15mins it finely came back to the fist and it seemed fine and normal after that.This is one lucky bird last week when we went out hunting together after been hunting for about a hour my female harris took his male straight off his glove by the head i finally got her off one of her talons went through the underneath his beak n came out of the inside of his mouth.THIS HAWK MUST BE A REAL HARD B*****D

Has anyone experianced this before

yeah...I would have said he was very unlucky! I guess it the old question 'is the glass half full or half empty'

hes unlucky to get electrocuted and attacked, but lucky to be alive.

Its not a laughing matter i know its serius but youve got to give it to the little fellar hes a fighter alright:goodman:
