Kangaroo (make sure you get it from a recommended source)
Kip
Buffalo
Also, make sure you get the right weight of leather for the purpose

when cutting leather for equipment ( and fhf is right about kangaroo) you need to find the grain of the leather then depending on what your making cut it the right way...if it is the wrong way it will eventually stretch a great deal more than if you cut it the correct way...Im not explaining myself well as I am tired...can someone take over.............................................. .................................................

Leather can be streched more in one direction than it can in another.

for instance on a jumbo you can get a piece to about 2 ft whereas on a 747 you can only get it to a foot and a half....
