Here is my take on an Anglo Indian style hood called the Moridian. Each hood is blocked, tooled and comes with a uniquely braided top knot all for 60.00 US plus 8.00 shipping.
Sizes available are tiercel Peregrine to Female redtail and Gyr.

Thank you Mark, George from Fendlands was mentioning I hadn't done much tooling on hoods lately and the last 5-6 orders each hood has been fully tooled,, good to get into it again.

Again thank you Mark, the single color hoods that are tooled have an appealing look most would prefer,, ME? I like them with a bit more Flair. Here is a Moridian I made tooled with some color that sold on e-bay for over 200.00 a few years back.

FINALLY!! Thats a very nice looking hood Ken...........
One question though. Why block it? I like anglo-indian hoods the best as I think they fits most accipiters better. What is the advantage of blocking? Doesnt that do away with the fit of the Anglo?
I'll have to see what bird I'm for sure going to acquire this spring, then I'll be ordering one.
Thanks

Another you like, WHEW! Good question, I do not like a pinched looking eye seam like many Anglo Indian hoods, nothing wrong with them but I MUCH PREFER the rounded eye seam look. I personally think it provides just a little bit more eye space. I have made the exact same Anglo Pattern and have made them both blocked and unblocked and I much prefered the blocked fit by far.

Thanks Ken, I also noticed the blocking or something gives it the old "Gene Johnson" look at least to my eye.
As soon as I'm settled on what bird I'm going to fly I'll contact you....

I have one of Gene's Indian hoods,, yes he rounds his eye seams as well but if you put this hood and Genes hood side by side they are Very different.
Gene's hood is more similar to the hood you got from BT.
For sure let me know Bill, I will make sure to add lots of colors to yours.
