Just a reminder to all about feed, if and when the bird flu hits europe, the day old chick supply will dwindle with a ban on imports, a lot of this countries supply comes from europe, and already breeders are reducing output of chicks and holding on to older birds (they get compensation for adults and not for chicks)
Not trying to scaremonger, just informing and reminding all.
Cheers all
there will still be beef and rabbit thats readily avaible, just a lil more expensive for the beef

if they stop the sell of DOC I can see a big drop in wild rabbits, crows , pigeons etc, as everyone will be out shooting the weekly food rations for their birds.

There seems to bee no shortage yet, but spoke to a supplier today who reminded me of a similar situation 3 -4 years ago and that he had been receiving big orders from people stocking up just in case, might be an idea to get a few more boxes in than normal, if you feed chicks
