Martin will be appearing as a guest speaker for the BFC Midlands Region on Tuesday 2nd February at the Bulls Head, Rosliston, just off the A38 between Lichfield and Burton on Trent.

Non members are most welcome.

Martin will be discussing Hare hawking with Harris, Goshawk, Ferriginous, Redtail and Golden Eagles. It promises to be a good night and if you didn't get that book you wanted for Xmas, now is your chance to get a signed copy.

Meet at 7.45pm for an 8.30 start, be sure to be early as we are expecting a full house!!!

I have always seemed to have missed Martins talks in the past, but I'm sure that they are very entertaining.

Has anybody attended one of his talks before?

Yep one things for sure he bloomin well does have a passion for falconry!!! I went to one of his talks in the summer which was also about hare hawking. You will be captivated from the start, very interesting, informative and honest accounts of his life in falconry......He gets that engrossed in what he is talking about it's as if he is going to explode :yawinkle: You will no doubt see what i mean, very interesting fella.

enjoy

modest ,unassuming with great enthusiasm and insights (the one about frozen clods of earth and eagles ,springs to mind ) and a willingness to listen to and enjoy other's experiences

I found it a fascinating evening, although when it came to question time being a newbie I felt I was unable to contribute, as the questions I did have were of little interest to most of the members attending...

But on a whole a great night...
