hitting your target at the correct distance, in the correct place will kill it just as dead as any fancy slugs, .177 or .22 used correctly with experience and sense, they kill just as dead as each other....

well said mate i would chop their heads aff, it was so sad same thing happened here in glasgow last yr, a lil boy in easterhouse got killed coz of some ******** having fun trying to target practice on the firemen and hit the lil boy, u mind the news, that place is only a 15 min drive away from my area

my mate writes for a well known magazine and I told him about the lad and he wants to do an article on him....I said he may be apprehensive, so I will put him in touch with you....also my mate bernie has a stretch of river at the bottom of his garden and wants to offer him and his dad a days fishing with him...will be gauranteed to cheer him up and if we could coincide the article with the day ...as my mate is a well known fisherman celeb it might make a good peice and bring these ******** out into the light where they can be seen...

Thing is Paul it puts them in the limelight as well opening up to publicity.

I went to our local Rag and told them about it they where more than happy to print it but the police advised against it as it could create more trouble on him.Even from his school . Kids can be cruel and might well just pick on him just because he was in the Rag.
Its a great offer mate but his dad just wants to lay low and forget about it i have given them some great spots to fish and he is catching big carp and pike, mainly pike because of the time of year.He just wants it all put behind him and i think thats the right thing to do , if he where 16 or something around there then i would say 'Go for it' but he is happy now and we do not want to drag the past up for him but thanks anyway mate but he is just fine.

I really can not say much as it obviously puts me in the frame by the Police but time will tell ....................After all it gets Dark early these days:twisted:

Paul, don't forget that the States have very different laws on their firearms, so they wont have the power regulations like we do. The Career has an 80 ft/lbs power and I know that there are some that are considerably more powerful:!:
