Falconry Insurance

Hears a question.
With the world being the way it is i.e everyone suing everyone for the littlest of things i was wondering if any of you have insurance just incase somethi ng might happen. The only reason i am asking is becasue a lot of my friends in scotland are thinking of getting some just to make sure they are covered.
If anyone has insurance who would you recommend.

I am a member of Countrysdie Alliance & the memebership Fee covers me with their insurance for all countryside/field sports....Falconry, shooting , ferreting, fishing etc.I pay £11 by direct debit every quarter, this covers me for 3rd party liability

join a club mate, ai'm a member of the BFC and you are covered by 5.000.000 public liability insurance as a member when flying your bird. saves paying more on your own and 's a good club too.

I'm a member of the BASC, £5M Third party for Falconry.

Memberships cover you for quite a lot, but if you take some one out with you and you are accepting payment, ie for a days hunting or for demonstrations, you need a special insurance. It isn't cheap either. Also it isn't worth taking a risk of not having insurance, they can do you if they catch a sniffel now a days

As a centre, try Clivertons there very cheap and also NFU.

National Farmers Union. insure lotsa things, some cheap some not so cheap!!!
