right lads ....Id like a barn owl....ive always liked them.... it would be a great artists model for me.... ive lots of time ( although ive just met a new bit of fur so that could all change)... and I dont think ive made it a secret that it is one of my favourite ...not birds ...but animals.... if you discount tiger ...which im getting next year... why am I telling you this...I want you talk me out of it....
if you can great ...if not I'll end up with one ....ive never done an owl ..and have no interest in eagle owls etc...they always remind me of my ex ...just a bany...now i know babs will try her best....but lets see....

seriously johnny ...do i strike you who would get something on a whim ... then get rid when bored....id treat it with the utmost respect and professionalism...even if I ended up hating the bloody thing...but thanks for the effort....try to be more convincing....and I do agree ...a dog is not just for christmas....and neither will turkey if this flu thing kicks up....

funny HP as ive been toying with the idea of getting a wee barn owl too.
not fully in my plans to get it as yet but on the way back from picking up the lost male harris i watched one floating along the road, stopping to hover over the banking before gliding over to the other side of the road to continue its hunt. it came back to me that i may really enjoy keeping one of these beautiful wee owls.
i was thinking of getting it for my boy, (me really) as he has lost a bit of interest in flying the harris. he used to fly my male rico and was good with him but he aint too sure of ellie the female, or jack (he was an aggressive ******).

but if you want talked out of it, then, sorry they are too nice to slag off.

Nice birds to put up with but never let them **** in ur house. Unless u hav a gassmask it stinks. nice birds to fly though but their **** stinks and could prob compete with a skunk:!:

Most of the barns I know have tremendous characters - way out of proportion to their size! Used to think they looked cute but had no feelings either way about them, now I think they're really great little birds!:D

Yepp!! Get one!!! Fantastic creatures, imprint it well and its a fantastic "pet". Its the only bop I ever known who loves (not like, LOVES) tuching. You massage them quite ruff around their ears and they basiclly fall asleep on the fist, will even bend their head as a parrot!!
And you can fly two together if you want to!!!

At the foundation we get 8 out at once for the end of the first display and it's total bedlam but the public love it 'cos they are allowed to call them to the glove helped by one of us.

The barns love it and you have to tip them off the glove - they're quite happy just to sit there and be fussed!

Seems there's always a rescue 'Harry Potter' effect bird available.

Someone as loving and gentle as you’re self (gentle as a speeding MAC truck that is) could deal with any problems from the previous owner.

Word will spread then you’ll wind up flying a cast of barn owls.
