I agree with Paul get a good dog on and you will have the best fun. Saves doing warrens when they are empty as it takes to much time out of your flying day.
A dog makes your day if it is well trainned and has a good nose on it, and also if it will work cover.
Were in Scotland are you as i go up to Crawford and New Galloway flying now and then. Stay with the truckers and the bird stays in the garage with the heating on.
May be a few of use can come up and we can return the complement.

that does sound excellent argyll.
it sounds like you have plenty of coney in your area. i have plenty of land to fly over but have noticed that the rabbit numbers are dropping. they dont seem to be recovering over the breeding season for whatever reason. i try to refrain from visiting the same area twice and try to spread it thin but it aint helping. recently ive found myself going over the same ground just to get some flights.
however recently ive secured another 3 farms with a few rabbits so this should help. i have been going to the same ground for over 15 years now and needed a little change of scenery.
well done on the head count, thats pretty great. ive never come close to this number (12) but i usually stop if i get to 4/5. but it is hard to stop if all is going well and it seems she is hitting everything. well done mate.
