Hi All
I just wanted to get some advice on this.
I currently have a first yr male HH. He does everything great, apart from he screams a lot. I tried a lot of things, but one thing that has worked was putting him with a friends HH's. This has pretty much stop the screaming totally (thank god my ears were starting to bleed LOL!!).
But my bird is not a lot of good to me in someones elses weatherings!! I have found one guy who is selling a pair of Harris's which he has been breeding, but they have not flown last year or this. I have been advised that with a refresher course, they should be fine. If anyone has experienced otherwise please let me know.
I have room for two more birds if I build another weathering, but it would be easier for me to take just one bird, as also I don't think 2 people could fly 3 birds together very easily. I wanted to know if spliting a pair which have been together for 3/4 years would have an adverse affect on them in any way?
Any view points and experience would be greatfully reeived.
Many thanks
