is it a male Harris of 525gr big enogh to hunt Jack rabbits? or because of his size he won't stik longer in the persuit?

mite be a bit risky there m8. 525 grams? Thats 1 lb 1 oz roughly. That seems very small

its an american form of hare as we know sometimes males can struggle taking on a hare in the uk but some do a fine job so we read about it

im sure the veterans will be able to help him, or the males gonna get a good kickin from jack :D

Which kind of Jack rabbit? Depending on the species, jack rabbits range from 4 - 13 lbs. I'm a bit of newbie, but that seems like an awful lot of rabbit (hare really) for a 525g hawk. At least this might help you british experts compare the jacks with your brown hare in size....

Are you finding that your bird doesn't pursue for very long. I may be completely wrong and please forgive me if I am. But you have given a very light weight and if your bird has no energy, it may be that he is a bit too light? Have you felt his keel. Is this your first bird? If so is there anyone that could check him over for you?

The weather is getting colder all the time. If your bird is light this will be bad news. Just a little worried for you and your bird
